Day 4

[ Good morning!

Once again, Arataka Reigen has won immunity, because, I mean. Seriously. His work has been printed up at poster size and hung up around various parts of the studio. You might even catch it happening; a chunk of the wall will dislodge itself, spin 360 degrees, and then blend seamlessly back into place, now with the poster on it.

For everyone who participated in the logo contest, you may select a free Blu-Ray to be delivered to your dressing room. There's a wide selection; you can pick something from your own world or something from an alternate universe. You may have accidentally picked something from an alternate universe. Enjoy finding out as you watch them!

I shall not allow them to place that burden upon you. Someone else can go this round.
kayssistant: (Looks like a plot twist.)

[personal profile] kayssistant 2017-03-08 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
Believe me, I didn't either.

Did you know that this movie is related to one of Mr. Edgeworth's cases?
bootyninja: (Fuck me)

[personal profile] bootyninja 2017-03-08 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
[genji shrugs]

How else was I going to find out if you were as great a detective as you claim?

[Dlanor has ended up with the 1945 adaptation of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None, which, for lack of anything better to do, she is now watching.]
kayssistant: (AAI2 had way too many daddy issues.)

Thanks, Prosecutor Blackquill. I really appreciate it.

[Kay sighs, knitting her fingers together.]

Oh right, I forgot about names.

[Genji also flops onto the couch]

It's Genji.

Hm. [pause]

So you posit you were merely attempting to test my 'mettle' as a Great Detective. This is your claim?
bootyninja: (pic#11078660)

[personal profile] bootyninja 2017-03-08 02:15 am (UTC)(link)
God, you were there Hanzo.

[what did you say about not wanting to fight, bro. Genji drags himself out of the hammock.]

Are you seriously telling me you can't think of any other way? You try to kill me, no matter what?
bootyninja: (Um)

[personal profile] bootyninja 2017-03-08 02:16 am (UTC)(link)
[Genji frowns and puts his chin in his hand, then rubs his hair, unsure what to make of this. Strange american in cosplay who thinks they are friends or something.]

Yeah? For how long?

Mr. Edgeworth?! Really?

[Although she understood why she would have missed it, not being able to keep up with the legal world the way she used to, she still can't believe she missed something like that. Or worse--]

I can't believe Nick never mentioned anything about it. So what happened?
bootyninja: (pic#11078661)

[personal profile] bootyninja 2017-03-08 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
Eeeh, close enough. Are you always this serious, kid?

It could be merely COINCIDENCE. This latest contest may have been subjective, but the first was based on an objective point system, was it NOT?

Mais oui bien sûr!

[she smiles]

May I ask you a question? --How did your vote fall the other day?

Cool name.
kayssistant: (Holy guacamole‚ Sebastian made sense!)

[personal profile] kayssistant 2017-03-08 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah! They were shooting the film...and the star was abducted so he could be used against his mom, who's a judge! Luckily Mr. Edgeworth managed to figure out where he was and we got him back.

[look he is a lonely cowboy who needs friends]

Must've been about three years or so. Though it's been six or seven since I left.

[Someone got a DVD set she's happy about. It looks like some kind of action series-- with a unique looking masked samurai on the on the front of it. It's labeled The Steel Samurai: Warrior of Neo Olde Tokyo.]

Now this is more like it! Finally something good.

[Effort is justly rewarded at least. Who wants to watch a kids' show about heroes and justice?.

You can probably find her glued to the series for a while. Who cares if she's watched it a hundred times before it's still the best.

No way!! That's crazy. Global Studios can never catch a break, huh...? Poor WP... that must have been rough on him too. It's a good thing Mr. Edgeworth was there to set things straight.
kayssistant: (Looks like a plot twist.)

[personal profile] kayssistant 2017-03-08 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
You said it! That's not even the worst of it - there was a dead body on the set, and the real killer tried to pin it on poor John Marsh!

It was a crazy case.

It must be nice, investigating with a prosecutor though. When I was working with Nick, we were always getting chased out right when we were starting to get somewhere. Just thinking about all the times we just "got lucky"... well. I guess it was a lot of fun anyway.

[Not like she liked the part where they had to find ways around a roadblock nooooooope..... Not at all. Totally innocent.]
kayssistant: (Dishonor on you. Dishonor on your cow.)

[personal profile] kayssistant 2017-03-08 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
We got chased off too, sometimes. [She shakes her head.] By Interpol agents, or even other prosecutors, or that judge I talked to you about.

Mr. Edgeworth would try to either investigate somewhere else, or figure out how to be allowed on the crime scene.
spiritualfigure: (pic#11072389)

[personal profile] spiritualfigure 2017-03-08 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
Well that's what he gets for making it so hard on us before. Heh... [Listen. The idea of Edgeworth getting chased off is actually pretty darn funny okay.]

Still. That sounds like him alright. He probably just made that "Ngoooh" face [You know the one, right Kay?] of his and went right back to the drawing board. I'd expect nothing less from Nick's rival.

[ Simon clears his throat loudly, and Taka screeches for good measure. That's right, everyone, it's time for "Some Asshole Bossing People Around" O'clock! ]

Yesterday, a question was posed: If indeed the "winner" of the vote is tasked with executing the "loser," can we, in good conscience, continue on with our previous plan? It would be ludicrous to assume that everyone will cooperate, after all. What's more, our current volunteer, Kay Faraday, does not wish to take a life.

I would like to suggest an alternate plan. Rather than concentrating on those we wish to safeguard, we should turn our votes against those from whom we are safeguarding ourselves: Namely, those who cannot cooperate with the group. Fiona has confessed to voting for Handsome Jack, and Matt Engarde was almost certainly the vote on Fey-dono, a person from his past who can personally attest that he is not the harmless dimwit he is pretending to be, but rather a savage stalker, kidnapper, and murderer.

My proposal is this: All those who do not wish blood on their hands, vote to oust Fiona. All those who can live with the result of their choice results ending with a man losing his life, vote for Engarde. As the former has no issue with vigilante justice, it should not be difficult for her to enact it against him, and the number of people whose personal agendas conflict with the safety of the rest of us is narrowed by two.

Hey! I had a good reason for it! And so did two other people. What about them?
weeabird: (you think you're so moe don't you)

[personal profile] weeabird 2017-03-08 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
I am not contesting your motive. There's a reason why I'm proposing you be the one who survives this vote, after all.

As for the other two voters, I don't know who they are. Would you care to enlighten me?
