Day 4

[ Good morning!

Once again, Arataka Reigen has won immunity, because, I mean. Seriously. His work has been printed up at poster size and hung up around various parts of the studio. You might even catch it happening; a chunk of the wall will dislodge itself, spin 360 degrees, and then blend seamlessly back into place, now with the poster on it.

For everyone who participated in the logo contest, you may select a free Blu-Ray to be delivered to your dressing room. There's a wide selection; you can pick something from your own world or something from an alternate universe. You may have accidentally picked something from an alternate universe. Enjoy finding out as you watch them!

I meant Kay-- because she was worried about being forced to hurt someone. I wasn't talking about Fiona.

...Right. Sorry. Whatever. Anyway, point still stands. This guy's the one who thinks this is such a great plan, why doesn't he go first?

[personal profile] weeabird 2017-03-08 05:41 am (UTC)(link)
This is a good idea — rather, I would say it is a crucial step. We need to ensure only a small handful are voting for Engarde.
weeabird: (justice-dono you kuso-wanker!!)

[personal profile] weeabird 2017-03-08 05:48 am (UTC)(link)
Because no one has volunteered, and we cannot trust someone who has already gone against the agreed-upon plan!

[ slams his fists into a table, which seems to calm him down a little ]

...Last time, 30 cooperated with the vote for Ticky. If we arrange, say, 5 votes for Engarde, the tides swinging against her are overwhelmingly low. Rather, it's all the rest of us who are in danger of discreetly changing votes.

Then you will vote for Fiona?

[personal profile] spiritualfigure 2017-03-08 05:50 am (UTC)(link)
[Maya shakes her head and smiles.]

It's okay, don't worry about it. I know you want to just want to protect her. That's why I want to work together. We want to do the same thing. Prosecutor Blackquill might not say it the best, but I know he wants to do the right thing too. It's... a pretty difficult situation for all of us.

[Ahem. Now that that embarrassing little bit is over--]

Right. So. Let's see if we can't find a volunteer together.

[personal profile] weeabird 2017-03-08 05:51 am (UTC)(link)
........

Do you need something, boy?
partcompany: (051)

[personal profile] partcompany 2017-03-08 05:52 am (UTC)(link)
So why don't you do it, huh?

And don't give me the hard decisions thing again. Or the thing about sticking around to protect people, because, hey, isn't that basically just "selfishly wanting to continue to play with your friends"? However much you think they need you, I—

[he breaks off there because he realizes he's about to say something embarrassing but realizes he's gone too far to back out now]

—I need Fiona. So.

But of course, Mr. Blackquill. My vote shall be for Fiona.

Though, it seems Fiona does not like the idea.

What manner of prize do you suppose she was promised? I imagine it must be very motivating if she really wishes to remain.

. . .

That's better than risking a kid having to kill someone or a random bystander... But we'd have to make absolutely certain of the vote count. People would have to announce what they're submitting this time.

[personal profile] proficient_in_photoshop 2017-03-08 05:55 am (UTC)(link)
Oi... if we did do this, would you really be okay killing someone?
weeabird: (28)

[personal profile] weeabird 2017-03-08 05:57 am (UTC)(link)
[softening a bit]

...We can send you out next time. This could all be over for both of you.
weeabird: (7)

[personal profile] weeabird 2017-03-08 06:00 am (UTC)(link)
[nods]

We can do a practice run ahead of time. I would say five is a good number to shoot for with the secondary votes; enough that it will be difficult to overturn by a malicious party, but not so much that it poses a threat to the primary vote.
partcompany: (059)

[personal profile] partcompany 2017-03-08 06:00 am (UTC)(link)
...That is not a better idea. No. I don't mean it like that, I'm not giving this up that quickly.

Also, you are not answering my question.
partcompany: (065)

[personal profile] partcompany 2017-03-08 06:03 am (UTC)(link)
...Uh-huh.

Sure, I guess. I'm fine with anyone who's willing to go out.
weeabird: (54)

[personal profile] weeabird 2017-03-08 06:04 am (UTC)(link)
[darkly:]

I have my reasons.
partcompany: (060)

[personal profile] partcompany 2017-03-08 06:08 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, great, can we get away with that one now? Can I just come up to you and be like, hey, no, don't vote out Fiona? And you say, why? And I just mutter "I have my reasons" really mysteriously. Yeah, I can see how that's really compelling.

[he pinches the bridge of his nose with his metal fingers]

Look, if it helps anything, Fiona's not going to randomly vigilante vote on anyone else, okay? Jack was a special case. A... really special case.

Just... find someone who actually wants to do it, okay?

The source of your inflated ego would be helpful. That girl with the ruffles had more command than you did.

[Good. Good...]

Right. I was thinking that if we could get someone like Erika to take them and count them, we can get a rough idea what we're dealing with.

[personal profile] proficient_in_photoshop 2017-03-08 06:12 am (UTC)(link)
[listening to Rhys protest]

... I don't know if we need to be forcing anybody who doesn't want to volunteer just yet, though. If there's another volunteer... Couldn't there be somebody else willing to go out? I can't be the only person planning on it!
weeabird: (73)

[personal profile] weeabird 2017-03-08 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
If a volunteer makes themselves known, I have no objections.
weeabird: (60)

[personal profile] weeabird 2017-03-08 06:15 am (UTC)(link)
...I am not opposed to finding a volunteer. I simply did not believe there would be any.
partcompany: (039)

[personal profile] partcompany 2017-03-08 06:17 am (UTC)(link)
Well maybe you could have at least asked before randomly nominating someone to be your proxy executioner.

[appearing on the tablet:]

The kid gets it! Copyright violators get NO MERCY!

Also, he didn't vote.
weeabird: (you think you're so moe don't you)

[personal profile] weeabird 2017-03-08 06:18 am (UTC)(link)
Fortunate that I have no interest in command, then.
