Day 4

[ Good morning!

Once again, Arataka Reigen has won immunity, because, I mean. Seriously. His work has been printed up at poster size and hung up around various parts of the studio. You might even catch it happening; a chunk of the wall will dislodge itself, spin 360 degrees, and then blend seamlessly back into place, now with the poster on it.

For everyone who participated in the logo contest, you may select a free Blu-Ray to be delivered to your dressing room. There's a wide selection; you can pick something from your own world or something from an alternate universe. You may have accidentally picked something from an alternate universe. Enjoy finding out as you watch them!

Oh, shut up! The danger is totally different when everyone's publicly agreed to vote for one person! The chances of so many people switching their votes to one other person that they place second is way, way lower than this, where—w-where—

[ugh]

—you're deliberately trying to split the votes between her and someone else, and obviously not everyone is agreed to vote for Fiona in the first place, starting with Fiona and me, because, oh right, you picked someone unwilling without even asking them first?

Because no one has volunteered, and we cannot trust someone who has already gone against the agreed-upon plan!

[ slams his fists into a table, which seems to calm him down a little ]

...Last time, 30 cooperated with the vote for Ticky. If we arrange, say, 5 votes for Engarde, the tides swinging against her are overwhelmingly low. Rather, it's all the rest of us who are in danger of discreetly changing votes.

So why don't you do it, huh?

And don't give me the hard decisions thing again. Or the thing about sticking around to protect people, because, hey, isn't that basically just "selfishly wanting to continue to play with your friends"? However much you think they need you, I—

[he breaks off there because he realizes he's about to say something embarrassing but realizes he's gone too far to back out now]

—I need Fiona. So.

[softening a bit]

...We can send you out next time. This could all be over for both of you.

...That is not a better idea. No. I don't mean it like that, I'm not giving this up that quickly.

Also, you are not answering my question.

[darkly:]

I have my reasons.

Oh, great, can we get away with that one now? Can I just come up to you and be like, hey, no, don't vote out Fiona? And you say, why? And I just mutter "I have my reasons" really mysteriously. Yeah, I can see how that's really compelling.

[he pinches the bridge of his nose with his metal fingers]

Look, if it helps anything, Fiona's not going to randomly vigilante vote on anyone else, okay? Jack was a special case. A... really special case.

Just... find someone who actually wants to do it, okay?

...I am not opposed to finding a volunteer. I simply did not believe there would be any.

Well maybe you could have at least asked before randomly nominating someone to be your proxy executioner.
