Remember, anyone who receives 0 votes will be TERMINATED! Whoever receives the most votes will be DISQUALIFIED, given their consolation prize, and safely sent to our luxury suite to wait out the remainder of the game. [also somewhat based off of these themes if that's okay]

I think the first goal is that each of us finds a person to receive our vote and vote for us. Then maybe we'll realize that someone is willing to try the risk of abstaining, or got voted for too much because surviving is the most important to them anyway. It'll probably go faster with small factions instead of one big chain that could break at any given link. Thirty-nine players is divisible by three, right? So we could get into little triangles like Akira votes for Bunji votes for Chiyoko votes for Akira, then next week Akira votes for Chiyoko votes for Bunji votes for Akira. It's a parallelization process that'll require way less search time. The clock is apparently giving people a lot of trouble if the swearing at some frozen tablets is anything to go by.

That's a good point, I worried that factions might vote to eliminate others, but the nature of this voting system does seem to prevent that, at least to an extent. So long as everyone is part of one such group. Certainly it would then have to be the smallest number possible - we're lucky it's so simple to do that. But only for now. If someone is taken for any reason it breaks down fast.

Yeah, a faction ganging up to put someone into the hotel would be putting themselves in pretty big danger. But you're right that we couldn't just stick to triangles forever; if we can't stop even the one person from going to the hotel then right away we'll be down to thirty-eight and have to recalibrate a little.

[personal profile] meatitfeedson 2017-04-25 12:28 am (UTC)(link)
Even if they want to put someone into the hotel, at least they can't gang up to have someone killed off. It's better than it could be, but there's still plenty of problems. Have you met my sisters-in-law? Perhaps as a group of mothers we could work together. Not only to vote within the group but to lend any extras to these kids?

Natsuhi and Eva and Rosa? I was wondering what was the deal there! Yeah, assuming that there's nobody else, I met all of them, every single one of you was super nice to me.

[A flicker of doubt as she scans the crowd for the others, as she can't say the same about how they seem to feel about one another. She turns back to Kyrie, still very worked up about this.]

Do you have time to explain just how you're related, so I know where they stand? Do you have a preexisting voting plan?

No, we haven't gathered yet to discuss it, though I certainly intend to. Natsuhi is married to the eldest son, who is the current Ushiromiya family heir, Eva is the eldest sister while Rosa is the youngest sibling. I'm just the second wife of the second son. Frankly, Eva would be the problem piece, she antagonises Natsuhi and Rosa. Still, I doubt even she would sabotage them if they would be killed.

So of the ones here, just Eva and Rosa are related by blood and grew up together. I see. They do look and dress the most alike... [batting her eyelashes] Though all of you are very put together.

[personal profile] meatitfeedson 2017-04-25 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
Well, Rosa is significantly younger, my husband is twelve years older than her, and Eva is several years older than him, so it's hard to say they really grew up together. Natsuhi would have already joined the family by the time Rosa was in middle school.

But thank you! Rosa is a fashion designer, actually, she would be glad to hear it.

Ohoho... maybe I'll get her advice if there's another dressup challenge.

Anyway, thanks for letting me know all this. It's good that you're working together. You probably gathered that Jumpei and I are acquainted and so are some of the others. If our groups can coordinate, that'll be great.

Right? I'd like an excuse for that too!

No problem. You should know where we stand together for your own safety, after all. I've met Santa, Seven and June from your group as well, and i have to say, you're all almost too endearing. I want to make sure we get out of this in one piece, and maybe get a few wishes while we're at it.

Oh my god... I'm too old for my heart to feel these things. I gotta take some Omepral.

[she is touched to the core]

[personal profile] meatitfeedson 2017-04-25 09:40 am (UTC)(link)
That sounds pretty drastic, I'm sorry, should I say something mean instead? Ahh, but any insult needs at least a hint of truth, and I just can't think of anything.

[covers face with one hand, flaps other hand dismissively; here, she'll say something mean if that's how they're supposed to bond now]

You are too open minded... if I were your husband I'd be so jealous that you're making friends everywhere you go.

[personal profile] meatitfeedson 2017-04-25 12:16 pm (UTC)(link)
It's the other way around, that man can't keep his eyes and hands to himself. I'm glad it's me here instead of him or I'd really have a problem, with so many women like you around.
keybroad: (Smile)

[personal profile] keybroad 2017-04-25 12:23 pm (UTC)(link)
You're so restrained when you put it like that. What woman could get through an entire day of not throwing herself at Ronald McDonald.

[personal profile] meatitfeedson 2017-04-25 12:25 pm (UTC)(link)
[she nods, solemn to be sure.]

It's the lips that do it for me.
