Because if you were literally in heaven or something watching time pass, that's really different from anything we know happens in our worlds! [Not that she's directly heard about Natsuhi's world - she assumes it's her own]

I was in the afterlife, to be exact. You could say it was purgatory. The only way to pass onto whatever comes next was to feel satisfied with ourselves. We had achieved it, but...

[Ayato gestures around]

But instead of not existing anymore now I'm here. I'm not sure yet if I should be glad or very annoyed.

[keybroad]

Maybe the... sleeping gas started working on you at the same time that you thought you were fading out of existence?

Better me than anyone else, anyways. The rest of the people I knew were hopelessly dim -- with one single exception.

The only influence on me so far is from that guy with the robot arm who managed to lose a push-up contest against me.

Besides you are here. Aren't we all from different places and worlds? People don't just gather from different worlds by accident or coincidence.
