[Josh came to look at the scene too and watches Yusuke from the door. He can tell the other's distressed about this, and he honestly doesn't know what to do in this situation. Snark is his go-to, but after the previous day's events he feels that's not in his best interest.

[Yusuke moves on to climbing up into the second bunk where Ryuji had been sleeping last night, still looking for any hints. No bloodstains here, but no clues, either. He glances over his shoulder at Joshua's offer.]

... Yes. If you see anything unusual, or spot any more bloodstains, please tell me.

[Yusuke seems like he's already torn up this part of the room so he's not sure where else to look, but he'll do what he can with the limited information he can glean from what's left of the scene. He's a little thankful his own bed isn't in this part of the room, given how much blood there is.]

Strange that there's only a pool, but no signs she was dragged anywhere. Would they really have bothered cleaning up any signs of that while leaving...[motions vaguely towards the bed] all this? I don't smell any ammonia.

[Yusuke climbs back down when he's done examining Ryuji's bed. He goes pale when Joshua gives his opinion in such a clinical way, and the mental image of anyone cleaning up his friend's blood actually makes him want to retch. It's by force of will alone that he's somehow keeping it together.]

Ammonia... Is that used for cleaning blood?

Yes, supposedly.

[Looks at the bed and then starts looking around at the floor around the bed. Maybe the hosts or whoever was hired to kill them did a sloppy job.]

Sometimes I read detective novels and that tends to be brought up as a common tactic of erasing blood and other evidence from a crime scene.

But this isn't a novel.

[Not that he disagrees whether it's factually correct. He sits down, feeling lightheaded.]

There's another thing I don't understand... How did none of us hear anything like a scuffle?

That, and how Ann could supposedly sleep through a whole day without waking up even once. I didn't know her, but I'm fairly certain most humans aren't able to sleep that long in one go. No matter how tired they may be.
