Sounds idealistic but that could just be animal blood. There's too much for someone not to have noticed...

Exactly. The bedroom is shared. No matter how tired or sunburnt we were upon our return, someone should have noticed the smell, not to mention the logistics of maneuvering around 20 people to get the blood placed. The question is when did the body disappear, and was that at or around the same time that the blood appeared...

What if she got up in the middle of the night. Wouldn't be suprised if she was having issues sleeping here.

She gets up, someone nabs her. Then dumps a bottle of blood on the bed and gets out. Makes more sense than someone leaving her here long enough to bleed out so much.

Mm. That theory would explain why there weren't signs of a struggle in the bedroom, as well as how it could've all happened without anyone hearing anything. However, there still isn't any evidence either way.

Without seeing a body we can't work it out. I didn't talk to the girl properly, but there might not have been a struggle. Hell, she might not even have realised anything.

If she were asleep or incapacitated throughout the whole thing, that would also account for the lack of blood splatter or any sounds to alert anyone else. Of course, it begs the question of whether or not sleeping itself puts us in danger...

That's not even a question is it? If you're not careful, sleeping can get you killed. I've been sleeping in my room, but that doesn't mean whoever did this can't get in there.

Obviously not being awake puts you at a disadvantage with regards to everyone around you. I meant more that perhaps the act of being asleep in and of itself causes the issue. Say, if this is all VR or something, and going into a sleep cycle introduces lag or drops the connection, just the act of sleeping could be a risk in itself.

This location may not be real. These might not be our real bodies. I've never heard of anyone else with tech this advanced, but it's possible, if incredibly unlikely, that someone could have developed a virtual reality system matching KaibaCorp caliber without my men getting word of it, and that we're all caught inside.

And yes, that's exactly it. At the same time, if we're here, trapped in the "dream," and the others have woken up, of course they can disappear without a trace. Again, we have no proof of this. But it's not outside the realm of possibility, either.
