It opens, and inside there is a well-lit TV stage, upon which there are several freestanding doors with names of all the surviving participants. A monitor in the corner displays the face of Ronald McDonald.]

All right, kids! Game's over! Thanks to all your tomfoolery, our sponsors pulled out, and we can't even afford prizes. Get on out of here, you little shits!

[That having been said, Akechi will inevitably return first, and can be found sitting by the door, staring at his phone.]

[Yusuke takes... a while longer... before he returns, but when he finally does, he looks happier than any other point since he got here. He stops by Akechi's side, a subdued smile on his face. He might even still be blushing a little bit.]

I think I'm ready, now. Are you?

[afailedmurder]

Yes, I'm good to go.

[Stands up, tapping the screen a couple of times before turning the phone off and sliding it into his pocket.]

Who were you talking to just now?

[wantsnudes]

Oh... I was saying goodbye to Seto. We may have only spent a few days together, but he was very kind to me.

[afailedmurder]

That guy, huh? I must say, I'm a little concerned about your taste...

[wantsnudes]

[It takes Yusuke a few seconds to realise what he means. Then the penny drops.]

W-what are you talking about?! There's nothing wrong with my taste...!

Well, not aesthetically...

What are you trying to imply?!

Doesn't he strike you as a little... off?

Not at all. As I said, he's been very kind to me, and he showed great bravery in putting himself at risk to try to save everyone with his hacking abilities. Also, he's knowledgeable about art.

[Yusuke being Yusuke, that last one is important.]

What about him strikes you as off?

Call it a detective's instinct, but I'd say he comes off as something of a high-functioning psychopath.

[Yusuke looks genuinely shocked by the idea.]

...No. You've done some abhorrent things in the past, but it wasn't truly by choice, and you regret your actions.

I honestly don't know whether that interpretation should make me happy or angry...

But look at it this way. I can't say he's done anything wrong, I can just tell that he's capable of doing wrong.

[He looks a bit crushed, all things considered. But he also trusts Akechi's opinion, so...]

I thought I was wiser, and less blindly accepting than I used to be. But it seems I still have much to learn, if I am to discern the true nature of others.

[Whoops, hadn't actually meant to bully him quite THAT hard. He pats Yusuke on the shoulder.]

Don't beat yourself up. He did save us back there.

That's why I want to believe in him. I think he's a good person at heart, even if he is capable of terrible things.

Maybe you're right. But you should be careful around guys like us, okay?

[pats a little more aggressively]

Don't sell yourself short, either. Without you, Ike's life would have been in serious danger.

I suppose so. Robin Hood's not too shabby, is he? Even if I did only make him for show.

Not at all. Even though Goemon has become Kamu Susano-o, he's still not capable of anything like that.
