[ Instead of his normal morning announcements, this morning you awaken to… Ronald McDonald playing a lovely tune for all of you with his band. Audible even over the metal is a louder sound of scraping, and a low rumble that persists throughout the song. ]

[ Afterward, you'll find that a new hallway has appeared in the studio. Where there was once an empty wall, there is now a theater! And your tablets will display the rules for a brand new competition… ]

[Comes up alongside him and slings an arm around his waist.]

I hooked us up with a full group, My Lord. You needn't worry about a thing.

[Plucks at the fabric he picked out.]

Ah, I see we have similar inspiration...

[ He finally tunes back into reality and his eyes widen at a sudden arm at a waist before relaxing and realizing just who it was. He might have even leaned into Niles' side, even! ]

I would have encouraged you to get yourself into a group and not worry about me. ...So I really appreciate it, Niles. I do. I will pay you back that favor the best I can, this time.
[ Corrin has been realizing just... how he probably wouldn't have gotten this far/earned votes without Niles' help like this in these games they've done so far.

But that wasn't the thoughts he wanted to dwell on (especially after a wonderful time like that.), so he's grateful for the distraction! He follows to where Niles had plucked at his fabric. ]

If I may share my thoughts, when I read 'bands'... All I could think was Azura. Perhaps I could attempt to channel that here? I'm no dancer or singer, but I could try.

You don't owe me, but if it works out that we could trade votes again, I would be fine with that.

[Looks around at the fabrics.]

And Azura does have a way with an audience when she wants to.

How about adding some accessories... [Digs through the stash for shiny bracelets and strung coins and so on.]

[ While Niles looked and began to look through the stash Corrin was searching in earlier, he felt the urge to take advantage of that second of being occupied.

So Niles will feel Corrin's chest against his back as the prince leaned over to pull the cloak down a little and kiss the back of Niles' neck and then nuzzled his face into white hair.

Yes, he's aware of what he's supposed to be doing, but he couldn't help it. He went back to focusing on the dark blue bracelets Niles has in his hands as he glanced over the outlaw's shoulder.]

Those colors would suit you better than me. I think you should use those.

[He had pulled away a little at the talk of favors and voting, still troubled by Corrin's selflessness, but that gesture warms him right back up. He turns his head to nuzzle him right back.]

How thoughtful! I'm going to have to pick something REALLY nice out for you.

[ Corrin couldn't help but notice that, so he won't be cruel and keep pressing him. Corrin has decided; It was the least he could do, after Niles did a lot to help him stay this long.

Perhaps I might take you up on the offer. If we're working together, I'll have to trust your opinion for once more. [Just like he relied on Niles' aid in the battlefield... He'll be glad to have it here.

Although... this was because he was slightly worried, but he couldn't help but lean into his shoulder, his face resting on the fabric of that cloak, and let Niles nuzzle him in return,]

How are you feeling? [Niles could answer about right now, or anything, but he hopes he didn't have to explain... Unless Niles was that cruel to make him.]

As long as I'm not having to worry about you, I couldn't be feeling more amazing. You...

[He has to pause for a moment, and set down the accessories so he can hold both of Corrin's hands.]

You took my damaged heart and you fixed it... something I had not believed could be done.

[ He almost was going to argue that Niles didn't have to worry about him and that he'll pull his own weight. But those words fell at this confession.

His eyes widened and his cheeks flushed.

He lost the ability to form a legible sentence for a second as he stared down at their hands. ]

All I think of... is seeing you content, Niles. I want to fight for that if I have to.

To have you sincerely wish such a thing for me... I thought there was nothing in me to be cared about like that. But I am glad to have you by my side. I no longer have to be alone.

[Smiles and leans in, not quite kissing him but nuzzling the side of his face.]

I thought I didn't know love, but I think now I do. I love you, Corrin.

Perhaps... two people who have been through a lot can understand each other easier.

[Corrin might have flinched a bit when Niles leaned in (wondering what he was going to do) and relaxed at the nuzzle. He hummed in content and closed his eyes for a moment, just enjoying Niles' warmth and presence of another that he cared for. A smile was coming to his lips.

He turned his face to give Niles' cheek a gentle kiss.]

In truth, I've become fascinated with you. You've overcome so much. I've never had a chance to explore love, myself... But I do know I love you, Niles.

I'm glad. I really am.

[Wraps his arms snugly around Corrin and rests his head over his shoulder. As he does, his eye spots the scattered pile of costume jewelry left out behind Corrin, and his smile fades. Not that Corrin can see his expression from that angle.]

I... only wish I could do more for you.

[ And leave it to Corrin to be somewhat oblivious to what Niles could possibly mean. And while this hug made it impossible to see his expression, he raised his own arms to wrap them around Niles in return.]

You've done more than enough for me. I'm very sure I wouldn't have gotten this far if you weren't here.

And I'm very sure I would have gotten injured or worse in battles you aided me in.

So I think that I should be saying that to you.

No, you would have made it. Believe in your own strength. Just remember how hard you've fought until now, and how much you've overcome... and don't give up, no matter how bad it gets.

That really made Corrin's mood fall. That will only make him more determined to see Niles live for not just another day but to make it whether it's the hotel or to win. It may be the rare time (other than the other night with Santa.) he might begin to resort to doing things quietly and behind the scenes to make results happen.

An almost sad smile came to his lips as he chuckled but his mood wasn't there in that slight laughter; It sounded a little hollow.]

What's this? Bashful of a praise or two to turn it around on me? [He runs a hand along Niles' back and rubbed in circles in attempt to be reassuring.]

But I will try. Don't worry. I just might have to ask of you to do the same for you. Do you think you can do that?

...Ah, you've got me. I get embarrassed by praise... if you were anyone else, I'd get really mean about it, like I was to that damned Arthur when he called me out on it. But I just can't be cruel to you anymore.

[Smiles again and pulls back so he can put Corrin's face between his hands, and hold him there to plant a firm kiss on his mouth, lingering for several seconds. When he pulls back, it's only by an inch.]

I will put my best effort into getting all the way to the end of this with you. I don't want to leave your side...

[ At that confirmation to his teasing question and learning more about Niles, Corrin could only think one thing.

'....Cute.'

But he won't put Niles on the spot any further.]

And you call me adorable... [He wasn't even aware he said that out loud, and gratefully accepts the kiss, humming in pleasure. He shivers a bit at how more assertive it was.]

I'm going to give this day my all. [ Even if it means enduring wearing ~~revealing~~ ridiculous outfits for it. ] I've got you, Niles.

...We probably should find our group, shouldn't we? [As much as he doesn't want to pull away from this comforting presence and warmth...]

[Can't resist giving him another kiss, this one just a brief touch on his lips.]

Perhaps we should. I would like to see how far along preparations are going.

[Gathers up an armload of clothes to take with.]
