Day 7

[ Instead of his normal morning announcements, this morning you awaken to… Ronald McDonald playing a lovely tune for all of you with his band. Audible even over the metal is a louder sound of scraping, and a low rumble that persists throughout the song. ]

[ Afterward, you'll find that a new hallway has appeared in the studio. Where there was once an empty wall, there is now a theater! And your tablets will display the rules for a brand new competition… ]

Is it even a metaphor at that point? "Starts drinking in high school" is pretty common, and a lot of us react to this situation the same way... actually, now I'm wondering just how early Mac started, I'm kind of concerned. [Well, they're just his bandmates, their ability to help him in this timeframe is limited.] Um, and we can throw in bitching about the cafeteria food you have to eat with a plastic spoon, why not.

[ Rohan has to ponder it because did Mac even graduate high school ]

Yes, go with that. Just because he doesn't get it right off the bat doesn't mean he won't learn once I boot him in the ass over it. We are not fucking this up. The three of us can make this work. Three is easier to handle than five. If I'm in the middle of it, there is no way we couldn't put Mary Had A Little Lamb onstage and not score a homerun.

Music is art. It's all about careful, precise preparation and a big gallery to showcase it.

[She nods very solemnly, actually almost concerned by how serious Rohan is. She'll have to make sure he doesn't go full diva breakdown...]

Speaking of the gallery. What about the stage, then. I don't think we need or want a fourth person to run lights, so it will have to be simple. If I'm just on keyboard and not doing a complicated dance - we might not have time for good choreography - I can press a couple of buttons.
