[ Instead of his normal morning announcements, this morning you awaken to… Ronald McDonald playing a lovely tune for all of you with his band. Audible even over the metal is a louder sound of scraping, and a low rumble that persists throughout the song. ]

[ Afterward, you'll find that a new hallway has appeared in the studio. Where there was once an empty wall, there is now a theater! And your tablets will display the rules for a brand new competition… ]

[Muttering bitterly:] Small heavy objects...

[Well, that sure is REALLY bad luck. Such is life.] Do you think you're due for more, or is the bad luck nice and out of your system before the performances tonight?

I might end up doing the heavy lifting... or the heavy singing, that is.

It's good you're getting organized, finding people to do everything. I'm pretty tied up with Loaded Observation, so we'll have to be friendly rivals.

Is that your band? Good luck, Lotus-san.

Who have you got to perform with you? Your entire group? Or did you split?

[keybroad]

Yeah, six was too many after all, it's just me in this band, with Rohan and Mac. So there are actually three different bands. Santa and Jumpei and June have one, I think, then Snake and Clover have another.

[golden_dream]

Rohan... ah, the tattoo-artist? I had him do another one on my back, he did very good work.

Who's Mac? I don't think I've met him.

[keybroad]

[Nods.] I liked one he did on my back too... He's a mangaka by profession, but he really is good at any kind of art.

As for Mac, he's listed in the register as "Ronald McDonald"... but he's from America and everything, I guess he finds that really annoying. He actually looks more like the King with his dark beard. He's very... [diplomatically] happy-go-lucky.

[golden_dream]

He told you that? ...Or did you recognize the name?

[it might be possible]

[keybroad]

No, right, I didn't know him. I mean, technically his friend Dennis was the one who explained it to me.

[golden_dream]

What?

[pause]

Oh, I mean, Rohan-san. Not Ronald McDonald.

[keybroad]

Oh! Right. Rohan and I didn't know each other before, but we've talked a decent amount. He drew a manga of me on a dare, it was pretty nice.

...I'd say we became friends, but he's the kind of guy who, you know, [impersonating him] don't make things touchy-feely.

[golden_dream]

Did you keep it?

I thought maybe he'd be published then with something we'd recognize... I suppose not.

Though you would think drawing with paper would be a world's different from skin.

[keybroad]

Yeah, I did keep it! It's hung up in my dressing room.

I do think the designs he put onto paper and the designs he put onto skin are really different, but you're right that it's amazing he can do both at all. I'd never heard of his actual manga... I've never kept up with that stuff so much, so I don't know if he's from the same timeline or not.
