Day 9

[ The wall that once led to the jungle set opens up again. However, it now leads to… well… it's a hospital ward of sorts. Whether you actually want to use it is up to you, but the first person to head in there will find a box containing a first aid kit with extra bandages and ointment sitting on one of the bunks. ]

[ The tablets are also offering every player in the game a chance to choose a Blu-Ray or boxset from their homeworld (or a similar one). Once selected, it will be delivered to your dressing room. ]

[ And of course there's a new game! ]

[ Sorry Lotus Zelda is far too disorientated to make out anything you just said. Who is speaking?? Vaguely turns her head in the direction of noise, but whimpers when moving proves extremely painful.]

[keybroad]

[Oh........... Well this is worrying. Lotus isn't really sure what to do. Lotus gets a little closer so she can lean over Zelda without the girl having to turn her head.]

Hello. [Time to see if even hearing noise is too painful for her???]

[Be fair, she did just wake up from an explosion. Just give her a minute, she's still trying to process what just happened. Someone's speaking to her? Zelda blinks, trying to focus. Everything hurts. There was a fire, that's right.] Link... [Her voice is hoarse and raspy why she finally speaks]

[keybroad]

Uhhhhhhhhhhhh....

[Right, that guy....... She mouths quietly but emphatically.]

A-li-ve.

[andascholar]

[Relieved!] Thank goodness. Where?

[keybroad]

Nearby.

[With a tilt of her head she indicates the breadth of the room. She doesn't point out Link's bed specifically, figuring it would be too much of a stretch.]

[Welp Zelda is trying to sit up and see where he is, she will get up and go to him and nothing can stop her!!!]

[keybroad]

Easy does it......

[Since Zelda is getting up anyway then Lotus will very gently support her with a light touch of the fingertips to whatever part of her upper back is covered in clothing and not bandages (or the least burnt if that's more accurate). Gently guide her in the direction of wherever Link is so that she can stop stretching towards him!!]

Ah... Thank you. [Everything hurts why won't my body do what I want it to. Very carefully and slowly making her way to Link's side with Lotus's help and falling to her knees. He's alive, he's breathing, he hasn't woken up yet but he's alive.] How long has he been asleep?

[keybroad]

[Lotus realizes too late that Zelda is actually walking all the way over there. Again not coming up with an attempt to stop her, Lotus adds a second hand along the way. Her eyes dart around looking for a wheelchair. She doesn't find one. They eventually reach Link.]

Ever since the fire same as you? It's been almost a day.

[andascholar]

A day... He always oversleeps. What happened after we were attacked?

[keybroad]

Some people found you and put out the fire. Niles, I'm pretty sure he was one of them.

[As soon as they stopped walking Lotus began to lean openly against the wall by Link's bed. Now she straightens up a little.]

Do you want to stay here, or get back in your own bed?

[andascholar]

Here. [She says almost immediately. She needs to make sure he's okay, how could she let this happen to him? Niles helped her, huh? Zelda glances back at her bed and notices it's his cloak that had been draped around her. There's a bow there.]

[keybroad]

Okay...

[Lotus steps back (slowly enough that there is no sudden drop) to let Zelda make her own way onto Link's bed. She follows her gaze. Lotus actually doesn't recognize the items as belonging to Niles or distinguish them from other possessions that might be over there such as a tablet.]

Do you... need any of your stuff?

[andascholar]

[She won't sit on the bed but she will sit by it. And there is no tablet yet, that's still locked in her dressing room.] I don't think any of my things made it.

[keybroad]

Oh, that's too bad.

[Lotus will stay right where she is against the wall then.]

I'll need to get going soon, I can tell whoever comes in next if there's any replacements you want?

[andascholar]

...A new notebook would be nice, but I'm not sure I can hold a pen like this. Perhaps some clothes?

[keybroad]

Clothes! Great idea. Mari will probably be happy to hear that.

[andascholar]

...How is Mari? [She still couldn't quite make out what Lotus was saying about her earlier]

[keybroad]

She's fine now. But during the fire, she was feeling a little sick for another reason. So when we saw each other later, she wanted you to know that she was thinking of you and really wanted you to be okay.
