[A wall panel in the green room slides out of view, revealing an elevator. Get in it and it will take you down to the hotel (description here), where your fellow contestants - alive and ghostly - await.

You may spend as long as you want here, ordering up as much room service as you like, but when you're read to go home, you'll find that one floor (new to the current hotel occupants) has nothing but doors with your names on them. Exit, and you'll show up exactly where you were when you left.]

[ And Corrin noticed that. It made him more resentful that Niles was sent to the hotel too soon like that. Corrin had dropped his sword at their side when those arms had an almost vice grip on him. He's wincing but considering how much he missed having these arms around him...? He was not pulling away. Not when he felt Niles quiver.

Corrin is giving a small shushing noise as he kissed the top of Niles' head, trying to ignore his own tears falling down his cheeks. Goodness, he missed him. ]

...I'm sorry I couldn't win.

[Give him a moment to calm enough to talk. The comforting gesture from Corrin helps. It helps a lot.]

And more than anything, I'm glad you did, as well... [His own arms are wrapped around Niles. He takes a deep breath in and out as he rubbed Niles' back in a gentle p and down motion in hopes it helps some more. ]

And that I am able to still do this at the end of it all.

I was terrified that you would die out there. If that happened... I... I don't know what I would do...

[Softens his crushing hug a little bit.]

[...He was honestly a bit scared, himself. But he won't say that. Surely the slight tremble from Corrin might have given that away. ] It's alright, Niles. I didn't. I was going to see to it that I wouldn't. ...Would have considered to resorting to something to make it happen.

I promised you, didn't I? [Another careful deep breath and then sigh as he nuzzled the top of Niles' head. He's not quite letting up his own grip, either.

'If I was going to die... as long as you were safe, I would've accepted it.' but Corrin won't add that. Niles is just beginning to calm down. Don't upset him. ]

[locktouching]

I'm really happy that you're okay...

[Shuts his eye and sighs slowly.]

I... I was going to ask you to marry me. I wasn't supposed to leave you like that. Now I don't even know where that ring went... I'm sorry.

Just like how I wasn't supposed to be sent to the hotel, but it looked like Junpei had other plans. It happens... [A hand reached up to stroke the side of his face gently.

His other hand... It went to reach into Corrin's own pocket. ]

Niles.

You have shown me that someone with a broken past can try to build a future for themselves. And I hope I've been some part of that for you. Because I've become so fascinated with you. I have for a while. Before all this... Because you've overcome so much.

Our past is out of our control and irrelevant and you've shown me how to move forward. You've shown me how to fight for others that doesn't require sacrifice.

[ Corrin kneels down, he takes the ring out from his pocket finally and held it up to Niles. ]

[Holds out his hand to Corrin.]

[ WELP. Corrin's eyes are tearing up, if Niles' aren't. He still had the anxious thought of Niles rejecting him here, for whatever reason. (Like meeting Aoi. or not winning the game...). So hearing those words made the almost-overwhelming weight leave him.

He takes Niles' hand gently, and gave a gentle kiss to the back of that hand before he took the ring and slipped it onto Niles' ring finger. ]

[Niles is smiling genuinely. He pulls Corrin a little closer.]

...At last. Now I don't need to be so reserved with you anymore.

[Just as he was standing back up from kneeling on his knees to look up at Niles... Was there a flush to his cheeks? Yes, there sure was. ]

Wait... This has been your "reserved"?

Oh ho, did you think those passionate and painful evenings were the extent of what I'd like to do with you? You really have no idea what you're getting into.

T-Then...[He takes Niles' hands into his own, enjoying seeing a ring on Niles' finger.] ...I will just have to find out, won't I?

Fun, you say... [still flushed cheeks. But there's a hint of a smile. He drops one hand to free it but his other still will hold on to one of Niles' hands.] I will admit, If you won't hold back... then I won't either. [A bit on his tip toes as he leaned up to give Niles a quick kiss.]

And I promise you're getting a real ring once we're back, as well.

...I will tell my siblings, too. [About this. About Aoi. They should be fine with this! Mostly just Jakob and Camilla that are just protective of Corrin, but otherwise!]

[He's looking a little dreamy-dazed after that quick kiss. Once Corrin is done talking, he leans into him to resume it, giving him a much longer, lingering kiss, full of warmth and affection.]

Corrin'd eyes widen at the kiss, but didn't pull away and relaxed into it. He hums in content. He leans in also and lips are almost pushing against each other and relaxed into it.

In fact, his hands moved to grip tightly at the front of Niles' cloak. He shivers from how overwhelmed he is with warmth and sensations stimulated. ]
