ENDGAME
[A wall panel in the green room slides out of view, revealing an elevator. Get in it and it will take you down to the hotel (description here), where your fellow contestants - alive and ghostly - await.
You may spend as long as you want here, ordering up as much room service as you like, but when you're read to go home, you'll find that one floor (new to the current hotel occupants) has nothing but doors with your names on them. Exit, and you'll show up exactly where you were when you left.]
((THANK YOU FOR PLAYING EVERYONE. Ghosts, feel free to materialize and talk to people. You may now speak about your prizes.))

[She's just going to let that hang. Not even yelling now, she's just resigned.]
You think it's all worth it then? 21 lives, for what? ...One selfish little wish... I think I'd rather be talking with Eva right now.
[Say a lot about what she thinks of you.]

[she sniffs, voice catching]
I get to be happy... I get to go home and have a husband who loves me and will be a caring, devoted father for Maria...
[she blinks back tears]
I didn't kill anyone, other than not voting for Ronove, who apparently was a ghost the entire time anyway... I refuse to feel miserable because of this!
Everyone played the same game! We all knew the risks! Everyone wanted to keep playing! People did much worse than us in the name of winning and staying alive, so don't you judge me, Natsuhi!

[Still that same blank tone.]
There's no way you couldn't have noticed what was going on even if you were solely focused on surviving. I saw it, Lotus saw it, before we'd even been sent here.
I just know that even if I'd gotten my grand prize I wouldn't be happy knowing how much it cost. So enjoy it if you can...I don't care.
[She's walking...]

And what reason do I have to believe you?
[Bye!]

--Fine, you know what, just go!
[she turned around and started to stalk off...]

[wait...]
[she turned and started hurrying back, trying to catch up to her]

... Father.

At the moment, I'd like to check on some of the others before they leave...

I want you to pretend you took some truth serum, for a moment, Natsuhi-nee-san.
Then, answer a simple question... "Is Father, Ushiromiya Kinzo, still alive, and not dead?" If so, why didn't he come out at last year's conference? If not, why haven't you properly reported his death to the authorities and alerted us, his children?
no subject
Are you serious? Couldn't you have asked me before, instead of all that nonsense?
How can he be dead if I spoke to him less than an hour before I was brought here? You can never be sure with Father, but the reason he gave amounted to he'd heard Eva talking about the inheritance and he had work to do his study.
Honestly...

How long are you going to play the "I'm answering a question you didn't ask," game, Natsuhi-nee-san?!
no subject
I'm not sure why you're so bothered about the inheritance, when you're now married out of it. But this is getting annoying... I'm going to check a few things here, then I'm going to see my daughter. I suggest you do the same instead of worrying about money.
[BYE?]

[It's not even yelled as she walks away, it's more of a mumble under her breath.]
