I mean, yeah. But plenty of people aren't the nicest fella around, in fact, pretty much everyone except this one hypothetical "nicest fella," and they don't have strangers voting to kill them two days in. God. And he was trying to convince me I was a target.

In fact, no! I mean, not to give you the wrong idea, I probably would have. But I promised not to try to kill him right away so that he wouldn't try to kill me right away.

Can't said I'd blame you if you did. I can see how a fella like that could make himself enemies outta strangers faster than most folks can say hello.

...Well. Yes and no, I mean. He was crazy, but he also had, uh. Charisma? It's not like everyone hated him. More of a love or hate thing.

You seem to feel pretty strongly about him though. What did he do to you? Did you vote for him?

I voted with the plan. Just didn't like the way he gave me lip for how I look.

Oookay, but. I also did that. If I died would you just be like, welp, don't blame anyone, he seems like the sorta guy who makes enemies?

...Oh no, I remember it. Vividly. I just don't know if it meant the same thing to you that it did to me.

You said it yourself. All that hugging and we're basically best friends, wasn't that it?

So Jack just needed to hug you a bit more, huh?

Might be saying different about him if he did, but if you ask me he didn't seem the hugging type.

See, this is exactly the point I am getting at, because I also would not say I am the "hugging type." The hug which cemented our friendship was an exceptional circumstance. A moment in time that will likely not be repeated.

You're also doing an awful lot of work trying to discredit yourself there, partner. Don't seem like something a guilty man would do.

I am not saying that I am guilty of anything at the moment, I am just. Trying to figure out exactly what it is that pushes a man over to "I wouldn't blame you if you voted for him."

It matters because I would rather not be the next guy people just... watch die and then shrug and say "well he probably made himself some enemies" about!
