[ Shortly, the monitors and the tablets that have been given to you play some lively(?) music, and the voice of a disembodied announcer kicks in: ]

[ CANNED APPLAUSE as Ronald Mcdonald and the Burger King walk onto the set. Ronald begins: ]

Hey, kids! Welcome to the show! I'm your pal, Ronald McDonald, and as always we're going to be kicking off the show with a friendly get-to-know-you game for everyone. Check your tablet for a good way to help you survive in the first round! Some terms and conditions may apply.

[ The King simply stares. He is watching you. He is always watching. ]

[gingerly dabs at a lump on his head.

He looks down at his tablet, and winces. TALKING GAME...]

[ Santa looks at the lump on his head too. ]

You're hurt.

[squint at him.]

Nice hair.

[holds up fist. Like he wants to pound.]

[ Santa snorts. ]

Is that a sick burn or a compliment?

[ He bumps his fist against the other's. ]

[cool. Now Link grabs onto his fist and holds it, immediately.]

[jinglebros]

[ Santa raises an eyebrow. ]

If you wanna hold hands, that's not how you do it. Let me open my hand first.

[eforeveryone]

[semantics but ok, loosens his grip]

[ Santa takes his hand away and opens it up, then offering it again. ]

[COOL!! HOLDING HANDS!!

Link points to his tablet, showing Santa. "Compliment," "Fist Bump," "Hold Hands" all filled out - he still needs "find something cool in prop room" to get an entire bingo just with him. He taps his thumb on the "prop room" square]

Come on, follow me, I'll take you there.

[eforeveryone]

[nods!!! squeezes his hand.]

[jinglebros]

[ Santa squeezes back and pulls him along until they get to the prop room! Then he lets go. ]

It's fun as fuck in there. But stick close, you don't wanna get lost.

[maybe all my fucking stuff is in here

he nods again.]

[jinglebros]

[ Santa points to the nearest shelf and starts going through it. ]

Heh, this looks like it'd fit you.

[ He picks up a bright pink warrior's helmet and plops it on Link's head. ]

[eforeveryone]

[grunts. adjusting the helmet on his head. looks considering

like look i fucking love clothes, but its stats fucking suck & it's not that cute]

[ Santa interprets that look as a big fat 'no'. ]

Okay, we'll keep looking.

[eforeveryone]

[tugs helmet off. starts fussing around with stuff, hunting like he's hoping he'll find something. like HIS INVENTORY!!]

You're so intent. Hoping to find something specific?

[picks up a nerf slingshot.
