Unusually, however, there is no music, no fanfare; the camera is out of focus, and Ronald doesn’t even seem to be looking at it. Instead, he's turned to King, ]

[ The King stares. ]

[ The King stares. ]

And what's this, "Quarter Pounder or Whopper" garbage? Those aren't equivalent burgers, you fake-grill-line-adding piece of shit! I'd better not see this referencing this in your next ad campaign!

[ The King offers a Whopper. Ronald McDonald smacks it out of his hand. He starts to yell again, but cuts himself off, turning his head toward the camera. ]

—Are we rolling!? Grimace, kill the feed!

[ The screens switch off. ]

You really care about her, huh? It might not be quite the same, but I think that's equally important. You have your own special relationship that others may not understand. Even a marriage adds up to that in the end.

I don't even know if she thinks about it the same way anymore. We spent months apart before we got here and now she's awkward around me. [ They had to, so they wouldn't know each other as well when it came down to the wire. ] Who even knows if I'm more than 'some guy' to her now?

Have you talked to her about it? Who knows what might have happened or what she could be thinking, but I don't think simply some time apart would change things that much.

Talking? Not exactly our family style. [ (spoilers)Maybe if it was, their mom wouldn't have bought it the way she did, but instead she had to go out and leave them all alone. ] But I guess maybe it should be.

It's always better to find out for sure than to worry about the possibilities and never address anything. Of course it's nice if you can figure it out based on any hints or cues, but if you don't have that, then there's no shame in simply talking.

Mhm. You're going to be awfully busy. But I know you can do it. Maybe we should take a mock murder for him to solve. You can be the victim, and through the investigation he'll realise how much he misses you. Then when you turn out to still be alive he'll throw himself at you.

No, it's definitely a bad idea. You should be sure to be absolutely honest with him. And you know, most likely it will never fully go away. They'll always use those things against you.
