[ Did everybody sleep well? At promptly 6 AM, or at least what the tablets proclaim to be 6 AM, Ronald bursts in with the morning announcements. ]

Good morning, kids! Today we have a fantastic new game for you to play, and we think you'll have a lot of fun! It's fun, it's a classic, iiiiiiiiit's



[ The feed switches off, but only for a second before flicking back on so Ronald can add: ]

Oh, by the way, Seven died trying to escape.

I'd like to win my grand prize, but I do hope as many of us make it out in one piece as possible. I imagine most people feel the same way, really.

Honestly, you're probably right. At least, I'd hope so.

Right? Even if you were to say "I just hope everyone is fine" sounds suspicious, who doesn't want to get something out of it if they can? That's just as bad as someone who only wants to win, since it probably amounts to the same thing.

Get Ronald McDonald, the clown, to have a smoke with you. I don't care if he agrees since that's not up to you, just so what you can to try.

[ Katou takes a deep breath. ]

HEY! DONALD MCDONALD OR WHATEVER THE FUCK YOUR CLOWN NAME IS! WHY DON'T YOU COME OVER HERE AND HAVE A FUCKING CIGARETTE WITH ME?!

[Hell yes, she loves this enthusiasm, she'll be cheering him on from the sidelines.]

[ When he's done shouting, he turns back to her. ]

If he shows up, I really will. I'm not gonna go back on something like that.

[Nearby, an entire wall slides up into the ceiling. From a dark corridor filled with various wires and mechanisms, out steps Ronald McDonald. The wall slides back into place behind him.]

Holy shit, you actually showed up.

[ He stares for a moment, then he pulls a cigarette pack out of his jeans pocket. He pulls out a single cigarette, and holds it out to the scary looking clown. ]

No thanks! I don't smoke! But I do enjoy the refreshing taste of an ice-cold Pepsi!

[He whips out a can and poses with it, facing some invisible camera, and then disappears through a trap door in the floor, much the same way that Ayato and Emily did earlier.]

....I like Coke products better......

[ He says to the floor after the clown disappears. ]

I hope he does, you two can bond, won't that be nice?

[ HE DID. ]

[That was an experience. She just states the whole time, what else can anyone do?]

Well, despite the murder I guess he's still a good enough mascot not to endorse smoking.

But he did endorse the inferior soda brand.

That's true, I thought McDonald's was a Coke establishment? That's quite the betrayal.

Exactly! Coke tastes better, anyway.

Right? Who's ever asked for a rum and Pepsi?

No one with decently working taste buds, that's for sure.

Maybe we should do the Coke or Pepsi challenge here.

[Did that exist in Japan in the 80s? Maybe not but whatever.]

[ Well, it existed in America in 1975, so MAYBE? ]

Might not be great product placement for our corporate overlords when Coke kicks Pepsi's ass.

[CLOSE ENOUGH ANYWAY]

It would be encouraging for the rest of us though, maybe we could kick their ass just as hard. It would be a nice thought, anyway.
