Anything to help you, Niles. Didn't I say so? [ His hand is on his cheek, the dull numbness of the strike still there but knowing he could help Niles get points makes it worth it. ] As long as that... doesn't affect me too, it should be just fine.

I shouldn't have made you do my dare. I'm sorry... [ He does look concerned as he eyes that hand intently. Also his protectiveness might be showing a tad. ] I'd more than appreciate if you told me who did this so I can see to it that it wears off.

You...! [ But he was right that points were the focus, right now.. He looks tense and hesitant after a moment of just staring up at Niles. ]

[ His shoulders sag as he lets out a long sigh.

He starts to make a fist in one hand after lowering his gaze. ]

Forgive me, Niles...

[Corrin lets out a yell as he swings his fist into Niles face and he is quick to close his eyes as he swung it. He felt his fist make contact with Niles' face. And because his eyes are closed, he's not sure if it hit Nile's cheek or nose or eye...

(Gods, His hand really hurts now-!!)]

[locktouching]

[Reels back. Staggers. ...And laughs.]

Not bad, Lord Corrin.

[Spits a wad of blood. The inside of his cheek cut against his teeth from the blow.]

[ Now Corrin looked worried at the blood. That, and his urge to fuss over Niles increased than it already has.

He's reaching over to touch his cheek gently, hoping to convey his apology. ]

I'm so... so sorry, Niles. Let me make this right when this is over. Let me get something for that, if you'll let me.

[locktouching]

[Wipes his mouth with the back of his... human hand. And shakes his head when Corrin reaches for him. There's other things to focus on right now.]

First, do another dare for me.

Say the most horrible insult you can think of to my face. Doesn't matter if it's true or not, just make it hurtful.

Niles. No.

Corrin's heart is breaking at just the idea. Especially after getting to know him, this felt worse.]

[But when he thinks about the timing nearing and the fact that points are at stake... and being able to help Niles and anyone else this round... He closes his eyes a moment as he gathers his thoughts. ]

[ Corrin is slowly becoming unable to ignore the moist and burning sensation in his eyes. Now is not the time for tears, dammit... He better make this quick before he really caves in and can't.

Corrin does his best to think of being able to help Niles this round. Do this for him.

He's silent for moments. until he attempts the iciest look on his face as he looked to Niles. ]

People that left your life were right to abandon you for dead. It's a pity lived.

[ The moisture in Corrin's eyes manage to not spill yet. Keep... the... front.. up. Gods, Corrin just wants this round to end. ]

[Closes his eye. Smiles.]

[Looks back up and reaches over to touch Corrin's hair, just brushing his bangs out of his eyes.]

Ah... lately, I've been having an urge to talk with you. Not about anything spectacular, but...

I have one last idea for a dare.

I dare you to walk away and avoid me until this "truth or dare" event ends.

[ Corrin looks at Niles with wide eyes unt

It's only for the game, but it was still tugging at Corrin's heart that he felt a bit of pain in his chest that was there since striking Niles.

He is afraid his voice will crack if he spoke, so he manages a nod and turns to walk away just in time to let a tear fall his cheek without being noticed.

He's so.. so so sorry, Niles. He'll make this right. ]
