I could take anything in the book and make it better. I know this isn't a challenge of who can make the best tattoos but I would like them to not look like scrawls when I have a game I can actually play. [WOW!!! Lotus seriously reaches behind the back of her neck and - oh, she's not wearing her original outfit where the halter top could actually be undone by a clasp. This is enough to make her question her life and her choices, slapping both hands across her cheeks and just taking a deep breath.]

[ Popping his knuckles for emphasis, he knows what he is going for DESIGN-WISE with his many-headed monster but far more stylized and sporting some elements similar to the raven he had done earlier but replacing the branches with flames tapering off of and into the beast caught in its own mess of a body.

[She does effectively minimalize the chatter, sucking air through her teeth regularly. It is done quicker than she expected; her hands fold in her lap because she's tempted to turn and peek, but she's happy to let her breath go and speak immediately upon getting told it's done.]

I have been making all kinds of art for so long that it's second nature at this point. I do all of my manga chapters within a couple of days and spend the rest of the time after submission traveling. The average personal time a mangaka has to himself in a week is a total of four hours.

With my talents I have days to myself.

[Lotus knows sufficiently little about the manga industry that this does strike her as a slight exaggeration. She decides not to call him out. It is probably stressful to him, falling behind schedule. His weekly deadline must be looming.]

It must be nice being able to get a good result without revising it a lot... [She flexes her wrists. It's weird not typing at a keyboard for this long.] So much of programming is debugging, or learning new languages. I'm a little jealous of everyone who "creates" from a blank canvas or empty notebook or whatever. Did you actually have to do a lot of sketches for any of this or is it the very first draft?
