Something from your sketchbook would be good. I saw a few animals that'd be good choices. It's a long shot, but mayhap a butterfly...?

I can definitely draw a butterfly!

[It takes a couple of faith-instilling seconds for her to get the ink in the tattoo gun, fine motor skills are fake, and then she's ever so carefully drawing the butterfly's black body. Her lines are a little shaky but given the intense, concentrated look on her face, she's taking this seriously, and it's not even quite the size of her own tiny thumb. Could be worse!]

What color should its wings be?

[Could be much worse, definitely. Ronove has made no comment at all, looks like he endures the discomfort of the tattoo very well]

I'm fond of green. A good dark green color would be nice -- unless you feel daring and want to make it two colors.

[After a moment he wonders why he offered such suggestion. Huh. Maybe he is fond of Mary after all and isn't just indulging her]

[TWO colors!! The idea hadn't occurred to her until just now, and she's always feeling daring; this continues to be the best day of her life.]

Can I make it yellow, too? Yellow and dark green! They'll look really good together!

[The blonde girl who wore the same green dress for like two days and is still wearing green now is in no way biased.]

You seem very happy today. Are you having fun with this challenge?

[The answer is obvious, but children like to talk about it when they're having fun -- or so he supposes. Children are in some ways a mystery to him]

[Listen, she just knows what the best colors are??? Once she gets the colors switched, she draws dark green outlines for the butterfly's wings and switches them again to draw a few small yellow polka-dots inside.]

It's lots of fun! I really, really like to draw, and the challenge lets me draw lots and lots! I even get to draw on people!

It's likely you're going to get many votes. You're going to have a lot of influence during the next vote phase, everyone is going to be at your beck and call. My, what a frightening prospect, pu ku ku...

[One vote is definitely going for Ib, but Ronove wonders who is going to get the rest. Could it even lead to someone else going to the hotel if she feels like it?

Do you think so? [She hadn't even been considering votes... She just got really excited about drawing. She pauses in the middle of filling in dark green around the polka-dots, so as not to divide her attention.] What's a "beck"? Is it scary?

It means that people are likely to do what you want them to do, if it means being safe.

It'll be scary...for them.

Ohhh... I wonder what I'd want from everyone if I got lots of votes to give out...

[She actually seems relatively disinterested in the idea, given how she goes right back to filling in dark green color on the butterfly's wings with that same look of intense concentration. She's definitely scheming deep down, though; why are we giving her ideas.]
