[his eyes follow him, raising an eyebrow. he's pretty much covered in scars]

Looks at him dead on for a moment, then quirks his mouth a little. Then strips off his pants.]

[Link 2, Niles 0. He gapes for a moment.]

Well! You're certainly ready for adventure.

[Considers. Picks up tattoo gun. Let's try this then. Niles kneels down in front of Link and braces a hand on his hip. ...For the tattooing.]

[Uh huh.

With a nice, close look at Link's skin, you know, for the tattooing, you can tell his burn and sword and fang and claw and sucker and acid scars are very thorough.

[Brushes a thumb over his skin until he finds a spot where he won't be drawing over scar tissue.]

Been through many battles, have you? Me too. My country is on a war path, after all. That's not how I lost my eye, though... back when I was just a thieving urchin, it was ripped out of my skull by another lowlife.

[Here goes. Sets the tattoo gun to his skin and starts drawing a little heart.]

[ouch. More to the eye story than the tattoo. Grunts softly, trying to stay still.]

[One heart is a little boring. So he adds a line of other small hearts.]

Okay, I think that's enough.

[Shifts back to rest on his heels and grins up at him.]
