[Grabbing a new tattoo gun.] I can do that. Honestly, I'm not even sure what I want, so it will give me ample time to think.

[ He sits down and holds his arm out comfortably, resting the lower arm on a table but making sure she'll have good access. ]

That makes sense, especially if you want to make sure it has some meaning for you.

It's hard to ascribe meaning to so many things. I fear I might run out of meanings. [Despite how drunk she is, Zelda prepares everything carefully and methodically before taking his arm gently to start.]

In that case, you could get something frivolous just because it looks cool.

[Laughs!] You seem to have a good idea of cool. Perhaps I could just let you pick.

[autorejoin]

[ Katou grins again. ]

I'll tell you what. When you're done, I'll sketch something out and you tell me if you like it. Deal?

Deal. Are you ready?

Ready as I'll ever be!

[andascholar]

[Zelda nods, making sure her hands are steady and gets to work. PRETTY FEATHER GO!]

[ Katou's pretty good at keeping his arm steady while she works. ]

[andascholar]

[Katou so tough and cool! She goes slowly, making sure she gets this right, details in feathers are fiddly and she probably shouldn't try to be too ambitious on a skin canvas, slow and steady and simple that's the way.]

[ He's at least used to getting a tattoo, so that makes it easier. He's also not going to talk to her and bother her, since she's new at doing this. ]

[andascholar]

[That is VERY HELPFUL, because while she does worry about her bedside manner, she knows she'll do much better by him if she concentrates here. Zelda finishes him up and grabs a cloth to clean his arm.] How is it?

[ He looks down at the design of the new tattoo on his arm, and he nods. ]

That's perfect, I love it.

[andascholar]

[Yay I did a good, smiling! And bandaging it.] I imagine you already know how to care for a new tattoo?

[autorejoin]

[ He nods slightly. ]

Yeah, and it's definitely something I'd want to do right.

[andascholar]

Then I shall leave it in your capable hands.

[autorejoin]

Great.

[ Once she's done bandaging his new tattoo, he grabs a pencil and a piece of paper. ]

[Cleaning up on her side and getting another drink, maybe taking a peek at what he's sketching.]

[autorejoin]

[ What he's got sketched kind of looks like a strung bow and arrow, except instead of an arrow, it's a rose with thorns on it. ]

[andascholar]

[Ooh, nice! Sitting back and waiting for him to finish it up, changing out the needles.]

[autorejoin]

[ When he finishes his sketch, he holds it up. ]

How's this look?

I like it. There's some space on my forearm.

Great!

[ He goes to pick up his tattoo gun. ]

Are you ready?

Of course. [Holding out her arm for him.]
