Day 8

[ Ronald McDonald certainly seems excited today. ]
Hey, great job! The show was a big hit, and everybody did their best yesterday, or at least were entertaining about doing their worst! I'm lovin' it, so why don't you all go ahead and have a vote?
VOTE DISTRIBUTION:
Aku: 0
Ronove: 0
Sophie: 0
Everybody else: 1 each
…except those three!
However! For Aku, Ronove, and Sophie, you do have a second chance! An encore, if you will! I will offer a Hotel Pass to one of the three of you. A Hotel Pass can be played instead of a vote, and can be used on any player in the game, including yourself, to be sent directly to the hotel. It can be saved for later voting cycles, but can't be used after the votes have been calculated. No takes-backsies, kids!
Zero voters, check your tablets for more information!

I'm really, really curious about what everyone's prize is... I used to think I was special for being skilled at computers or dance or whatever and now I look so ordinary. Everyone else seems to be waiting for some kind of miracle - for themselves, for the people they care about for their lost loved ones. I just-- [She opens and closes her mouth several times before coming up with something satisfactory to the censors that could almost pass for talk of escaping.] I just want to go home and be with my daughters again.
So... It kind of gets at my pride as a woman. If I can't even help someone live two days, how did I protect them for two decades?
[It's a rhetorical question that Lotus has a very stony face about, only disrupted when she sees something from the corner of her eyes and leaps to her feet.] Oh, there she is! [Gathering lite brite boards into her arms, she says:] I'll be right back, Ronove.
[She goes off to the bar. She is not right back. Eventually she does come back at a brisk pace and stops in front of Ronove with her hands on her knees, the boards barely held up by her arms in this position.]
Pick a color.

[And he's not saying it just to be kind. Pick a color? Alright...]
This orange color is nice. That'll be my choice.

[She looks down at the pegs to hide her flushed face. It's not that she disagrees with him or anything, but people usually don't actively agree with the nice things she thinks about herself, and despite his politeness Lotus has a feeling that he'd find a delicate way to put a less positive opinion.
She gets down the "ZLD" plaque and rearranges the letters into "ENE", using a different light intensity to get that brighter shade of blue. Then the orange "RNV" forms.]
