Day 9 - The Dating Game

ICly, this game is played on your tablet, and can only be activated when you're alone in your dressing room. You can play vocally or text-based, but either way they come out on the other end as pure text and/or read by a computerized voice.

FIRST DAY (until 7:00PM PST tomorrow; an extra day since I got it up late):

ETA NAH LET'S EXTEND IT INTO THE NIGHT. Second half is just reveals anyway! I'll get it around noonish tomorrow.

🍔  Make a toplevel for your character, starting off with some kind of open-ended question. Your tablet provides some example questions, and you are free to steal one or invent your own.

🍔  Everyone else replies to the toplevel anonymously! Lying, kissing ass, or pretending to be someone else are allowed and frankly ENCOURAGED.

🍔  While there are no hard rules against any sort of questions, for the part of the questioner, trying to suss out identities goes against the principle of the thing and will be looked upon harshly by Ronald and the King. This is a dating game, so relax and try to find your perfect romantic match!

🍔  After someone replies, the questioner can ask up to three more questions to each anon. Anons, stay in your threads.

SECOND DAY (until 6:00PM PST Sunday)

🍔  I'll make a new thread, where everybody can announce which of their anons they would most want to date!

🍔  Winning anon, reveal yourself!

🍔  You don't actually have to go on a date (it will not count against you), but if you'd like to, a ~romantic, off-menu dinner~ will be provided

You do have a point. If the person loves you back, your presence alone should make a proposal ideal.

So what is your idea of handling the heat? Go to the beach or stay indoors or in the shades to avoid it?

A person with a minimalist approach is something that isn't appreciated enough. I have to agree that a proposal even in your own home is just as beautiful. It's the person you love, after all.

You get the full choice of the honeymoon. Where would you want to go?

I do want to at least be out of the home and receive some kind of ring. If you just say it, how is it that different from saying, "do you want to be my boyfriend or girlfriend as the case may be?"

I want to know you're very serious.

So you're a person who wants assurance that your lover is sincere... You sound like you've been hurt or had to doubt people's words before, if you don't mind my assuming.

What bouquet of flowers would you prefer your date to give you? If you don't like flowers, what kind gift would you prefer instead?

I would present the ring first, as a nice little surprise. I would confess of my burning love for you. We would talk of what brings us together and share in our dreams. I would hear a yes from your beautiful lips. Then we would get to the exciting part...

I have to admit life is too short to be so subdued about your feelings.

Oh man, both of those have their plusses. But I think in the end, cooking together would be more fun, since you could loosen up and not have to worry about anyone else there. You could get kinda intimate, too, if you wanted.

What sounds more ideal to you to do in the evening, having wine and watching stars in front of a lake or cuddling indoors?

Oh, do I really have to choose? If we were at a cabin by the lake we could do both.

Hmm... I'd like it to be mutually agreed upon, rather than a surprise. That way there's no pressure to say yes, and both people can be completely sure that's what they want. It doesn't matter where this occurs - any place we discussed marriage would be romantic just from us being there together.

Suppose we are in a beach. What would you prefer doing? Finding shade from the sun? Swimming?

Swimming would be enjoyable. We could also hunt for shells and use them to decorate a sand castle. The sand castle would have a little open arch facing the ocean, so that all the crabs could come inside to have a home.
