[ The feed switches off, but only for a second before flicking back on so Ronald can add: ]

You've been speaking to Rosa haven't you? Do you know why she's dared me to let Kyrie ask me a truth? She was really insistent...

[keybroad]

Uhhhhh... that's a good question. I can't remember anything she said about it specifically... Eva comes up more than either you or Kyrie, honestly. [Lightly:] Sometimes I almost get the feeling you like me more than you like each other!

But I also know that... things were really different for her being the youngest, right? Maybe now that you're on an even playing field, she wants a chance to play pranks like the ones that she used to fall for.

I don't like that she's being so insistent about it. I was hoping she'd tell someone so I knew what to expect, but if it's a joke between the three of them... [Thanks guys!]

Yes, I remember seeing her grow up. You really think it could be that? Why- Nevermind, I know why it's me... [She just sighs.]

[keybroad]

[Blankly:] Well, yeah. Eva might literally hit her.

No. She wouldn't, not here, not with the votes. Besides Eva would rather use words...

[keybroad]

[Briefly Lotus looks appalled that Eva would not hit Rosa here. ...but with the votes, she shouldn't say anything either.]

Maybe I should be afraid of when Eva gets around to asking Rosa a truth...

I wouldn't be. Eva probably knows what Rosa's answer would be to anything she could ask, or have an idea.

Granted, hearing it directly is different to thinking it.

[keybroad]

There has to be some difference to people saying it directly... otherwise we'd be hopped up on truth serum during this game. You might want that feeling of making someone decide to play by your rules.

That wouldn't be as interesting. Would it? [It's spat out]

They want us take part in this for entertainment. We aren't being made to tell the truth now, but I bet they'd reveal it if anyone did. Either by announcing what they lied about or just telling us they lied about something.

[keybroad]

Telling us just that there was some lie seems more their style. The same way they don't announce the exact votes. They like us scrambling around all paranoid of each other.

Exactly. [Nod nod, it feels good to be understood for a change.]

For example, someone asks a ridiculous question, you lie because it's stupid. Then someone else asks a cruel one, you answer truthfully. But they announce that you lied at least once, so all your answers will be doubted.

[keybroad]

Yeah, it would be rough to get asked "has someone ever died in front of you", and you say no because you don't want to relive the awful memory of just your grandma on life support or something.

[The cringe says it all.]

Not only that, we don't know how specific they'll be. Like if someone asks 'have you ever hurt someone' and it turns out stepping on their foot counts...

It's why I've been trying to stick to dares. I'd rather that, then have something misinterpreted so badly.

[keybroad]

[Stare... she feels bad for Natsuhi, but she's also wondering just how this woman came to so greatly fear being misunderstood.]

You're pretty plucky to be trying any of them. Do you want another dare?

I think it might be a bit late for that. But I do need the points if I can finish it on time.

Rosa said truths are quicker, if you want to try that? As long as you don't ask something idiotic.

[Not like she's getting points for it anyway now.]

[keybroad]

Okay, something innocent just to pass the time... What was your major in college?

Why would I have one? There's no need

I suppose you're getting along perfectly well without it. Okay, next question: When did you know you definitely wouldn't need it?

[She glares, it normally works with the teenage maids.]

A long time ago. Why does it matter!?

It... doesn't. Yeah, it doesn't. [At least, that's what she decides Natsuhi wants to hear.] I mean, besides, nothing that happens before has to matter anyway.

Exactly! Besides if I needed anything explaining, then I can just ask my husband. I'm sure he'd be happy to.

Oh, it's nice that he's a trustworthy man. What kind of things does he know the most about?

Well he likes to talk about space. But I wouldn't say anyone know a lot about that... He has mentioned that he'd like to go on a trip somewhen. When everything settles down. I told you the type of places he likes, didn't I?

[keybroad]

Yeah, Taiwan and all that. I guess that fits with the space thing if he likes exploring. [TOO BAD HE DOESN'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT IT BUT HEY AT LEAST HE'S NOT MAKING AN INVESTMENT IN MOON TOURISM OR SOMETHING] Out on Rokkenjima, can you see the stars really well?

I think he wants to take Jessica somewhere before she's an adult. He hasn't said that, but there's a lot of things he doesn't say. [There's slight scoff.] When the weather is good. I can see them from my window.
