ROUND 4 DAY 4 - HAUNTED HOUSE PARTY

[For some reason, you feel good today...stronger. Which is great, maybe you're just psyched up for the latest ~fabulous event~ cooking from the ConAgra-McKee Foods kitchens...

[The Newlydead Game^TM ✨Super-Special✨ 👻Spooktacular🎃! 🗡Murdermance💘 at the 💀Murder Manse🏚!

[The house is a huge, Victorian monstrosity straight out of the mental idea of an Edgar Allen Poe story--delicate wrought-iron chandeliers and candelabra hanging from vaulted ceilings; ornately carved molding and flocked wallpapers, mosaics and inlaid wood floors. Most of the rooms seem legitimately old, cobwebbed and musty, with dusty dropcloths laid over the faded furniture, and distressing shadows cast in the flickering candlelight that never fails to not light up every corner, no matter how many candles are set up. You're not sure how the cameras are picking all this up with how dark it is. You honestly wouldn't be surprised if some of the taps in the bathroom actually run blood. A few of the rooms are locked, in particular a few bedrooms on the upper floors, and a heavy door off the mud room that's chained and padlocked; presumably it leads to a cellar.

[The exception to this is the conservatory, the one large room in a building filled with tiny, closed off rooms. One wall is lined with massive paned windows, another a huge fireplace, the others covered in stern portraits and other random Victorian-area knick knacks. And sprinkled around all of that are Halloween decorations, the kind more Pottery Barn than Party City. It's set for a party, complete with games like bobbing for apples and a spread of fancy Halloween "finger" foods and drinks that glow under black light. A playlist of seasonal hits like Spooky or The Addams Family Groove toots along near a dance floor. Need an outfit for the costume contest? There's plenty. There's also a smoke machine and a photo booth. In the backyard is a corn maze.]

Hellooo contestants, guess what time it isss? Why, it's only the best time of the year for sweeties like us! Time for Pumpkin Delights and Black Cat Brownies, the perfect treats to give to your trick-or-treaters this year! Now, even though someone's given US a trick today, we've provided a treat for you--a Halloween ball! Play with your fellow Casanovas, make your best impressions, and grab your favorite Sexy Pizza Rat cosplay! At the end, you'll get to choose from all the remaining contestants for your Marry-Kiss-Kill. And remember what we talked about last night--this time, if you deal to make it even, you're all going to be punished!

[Ike is in some buff version of a Little Red Riding Hood outfit. He has a red hood over his head attached to a red cape, and a simple peasant dress, holding a basket under one arm.]

[Depending on when you run into him, he might be trying to kick one of the locked doors to see if it will give, or sampling the food, avoiding whatever is sweet.]

[This nerd is straight up dressed as Anakin Skywalker. He has a toy lightsaber that lights up and makes wooshy sounds, which he's using to try and compensate for the darkness, though mostly it just makes his own lighting a little creepier.]

[ Someone was re-classed to dancer, Fire Emblem style! You will see a big blue panther-like wild cat growling a low growl that would be a purr if he was house-cat size.... Which he surprisingly isn't, anymore.

When the big feline approaches, it then glowed and shape-shifts into a a desert-esque dancer as he approaches you and wrapped his dancer-sash around you playfully with a smirk on his lips. His bells jingle with his movement. ]

So~... Are you enjoying yourself?

[Yusuke mostly looks perplexed at the sash suddenly wrapped around him, what is happening here]

Ah, I suppose, but... You became larger in your cat form, Ranulf?

[Looks the jingly kitty over.]

[In the laziest costume ever, Soren has only wolf ears on.]

I thought you weren't able to shift to your normal size.

[The moment dog boy hears the growl, he shifts so he can kick whatever it is in the face. He isn't getting maul-

...The fuck? [Just give him a few seconds. Then the cocky smirk is back in place.]

You might want to be careful doing that. There's a guy going around killing and eatting all the animals he kind find.

[Yusuke's costume makes him somewhat unrecognisable by covering his face, although given how arty it is, and the fact he's currently gawking at every Victorian portrait he can find, it gives away his identity pretty fast.]

If only the lighting in here were better, so I could appreciate these pieces more fully...

[ Guess who's ready to flaunt it? Rise sure is, because she's in a costume that reveals quite a bit and she's not even the slightest bit afraid to show off her assets at all in the slightest bit. ]

I can't believe we're still doing this... but I suppose if we are, we gotta go with a bang, right~?

[MAKING A FRAME WITH HIS FINGERS, admiring Rise intensely through them from over the other side of the room. He doesn't say anything, but she might get the feeling she's being watched.]

[kaiba's taking a break from low-key dragon cosplay to ancient egyptian high priest seth cosplay instead (he appreciates finally having a cape).

[You can probably find him frowning pensively at a foggy green punch or the zombie meat plate by the dance floor, if not frowning at the cellar door or outside stalking around frowning at the the corn maze. Someone is apparently not that great at parties.]

These guys really like making us play dress up...

[But he goes along with it. Finding a werewolf costume, made up of a brown fluffy vest, paw gloves, brown trousers, a belt with a tail, and fur lined boots…

Also a headband with brown fuzzy ears on… The only thing he’s wearing that isn’t brown is the purple ribbon holding his ponytail.

And Wayne’s going to do what he does best, prowl about looking shady. Like he wasn’t wearing the dumbest costume.

Then keeping up with his tradition of trying to break out, he’s going to try and smash a conservatory window. It’s probably going to go like all his over attempts but to hell with it.]

[Soren put on a headband with fuzzy ears and changed nothing else, because costumes are stupid and parties are stupid. Naturally he's wallflowering it, though he does seem particularly intrigued with the blacklight, moving a drink that he has no interest in drinking back and forth, watching it glow.]

[Cassica is in a Wonder Woman costume by this point, and when she sees him she strides over with a purpose.]

You must hate all of this, huh? I mean, not just the Halloween party part. The whole game. Actin' a particular way to be popular on TV, all of that.

[There's a strange noise outside, like the voices of thousands of people layered on top of each other to such a degree that it comes out as nothing but white noise. In the cornfield outside, there crawls a massive metal contraption, covered in eyes and legs and flecks of cerulean paint. It scans the nearby area with a cold, blue light.]

[Right, where is that weapon shed again? Ike is looking around for something useful.]

[Okay, since now things are not even pretending to seem like a Halloween party anymore, what with the giant mobile armors and whatnot, Kaiba is addressing you!]

There's got to be a control room here somewhere. We find that, this should all be over.
