So will I. Hell, I could keep an ear to the ground about your parents' death and find you then. Although there's a question of whether that's possible or some sort of time paradox, but that's hardly the point here and not worth worrying about. We have plenty of resources, so one way or another, I'm sure it will happen.

[ He stops laughing finally. ]

I guess I just don't understand why I'm worthy of this.

[ He looks uncomfortable. ]

You've done a good job of endearing yourself to me. I mean I don't understand why you think so highly of me either, but here we are. You matter to me, I can't exactly explain it when it's happened so quickly, but I suppose it's that I see myself in you? That still sounds too shallow though, it's more than that.

[ He nods, and then on a whim gives her another hug. ]

Just believe me that you're plenty worthy of it, and more. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks so.

[She takes that hug and even ruffles his hair.]

[ He makes a whining noise but finally gets the water and drinks it. ]

I'm really good at building electronic shit.

Did you go to school for that, or do you just happen to have a knack for it? Either way, that's pretty impressive.

[ He's probably going to be wobbly if she sends him far, so maybe she'll guess. ]

All the cool kids stop going to school when they're eight.
