Doing something with my hands. Cooking or something, I dunno. I like making shit and it'd be good to get all the energy out.

Uh, sure. None of this stuff has killed me yet, your recipes probably won't do it. What's on the menu?

[ Off Santa goes towards the kitchen, assuming Junpei will follow. He's kind of wobbly on his feet. ]

It seems weird that we can mess around in the kitchens like this. Isn't that against like a million health codes?

Sure as hell is, but I doubt they even care.

[ They get there soon enough and he starts looking. Rice is easy enough to find, there's some Mcdonalds that have that! It's probably not quality, though. ]

Just be glad there's no rats.

Haha. [ Santa snorts. ] Just be glad the chicken is probably actually chicken, since you're about to eat it.

So how long have you been cooking stuff that's good?

[ Santa goes towards the freezer and eyes it before opening the door. ] Make sure this doesn't close, I've been stuck in freezers enough for a lifetime.

I probably got the hang of it around ten. It took me a couple years but I had to learn because otherwise we were going to keep eating crap unfit for human consumption.

Kids're pretty resilient, and mac & cheese can spread pretty far. At least, that's what I've found...

[ Pauses and glances at him from the doorway of the freezer. ]

You never heard anything about our home life, did you?

No? Not really... I guess it was pretty, uh, non-traditional.

[ He gathers up some ingredients quick as heck and steps back out of the freezer. ]

If she didn't tell you she's probably embarrassed or some shit, I don't know.

I dunno if I ever asked. It might not have ever come up.

As a kid, it wouldn't have come up because we were hiding it. I mean now.

[ Cooking time~ He eyes the knife he needs to use and his shakey hands, then looks at Junpei. ]
